Heavy Duty Double Dielactric Capacitors :

In order to build the correct degree protection, a capcitor needs to be given a higher over current with stand capacity and also higher voltage of surge voltage withstand. This dual consideration has been taken into accounts to evolve a different construction of capacitors.

The basic cell winding of this MPP design remains the same as that for a convantional design. This design of the capacitors has been evolved keeping in mind the basic simplicity of construction of the primary MPP cell and its superiorcity in the capital and operating costs. The new design retainsall the features and still is capable of withstanding, over current as also the surge voltage. These capacitors are known as Double dielectric type capacitors.

The advantages of this Constructions

A higher capability is generated and there is no introduction of what may be regarded as weak spots in the capacitors system.

Over current is taken care of and therefore performance remains uniforms as that for the proven design of the conventional type. It is therefore not necessary to evaluate performance for the new design any radical manner

Capacitors will be suitable for 50°C temparture Catagory
